    Description

    This antique tureen in the Sydenham shape by T & R Boote (c 1854) measures 8 1/4" across and is in very good overall condition with the typical impressed mark.  However there is a tiny chip on the inner rim of the base (about 12 o'clock in pic 2) and a chip on the lid (about 6 o'clock in pic 5).  Neither is super noticeable but they are there.  No other chips, cracks or defects that I can see.   this is a wonderful heavy piece of ironstone.
