    This charming piece would make a lovely addition to an existing collection, or it could be put into use as a small serving piece. Brown Transferware Covered Soap Dish Small Bowl Tureen with Strainer approximately. Unmarked except for "4 g" inscribed on bottom of bowl (see in photo above). Charming small soap dish with original ceramic strainer. Excellent condition. No flaws, chips, or cracks on outside. Two *very* small chips (approx. 1/4") on inside lip of cover (see in photos above). The lid shows light crazing around the outer edge - possibly decorative or stylistic.  These features do not affect usefulness or integrity of the cover.
